JAOA Peer Reviewers

Manuscripts submitted to JAOA—The Journal of the American Osteopathic Association are reviewed by two or more experts in specialties or subspecialties relevant to the submissions. The JAOA is proud to acknowledge and thank these experts in print every January, as it did in the 2007 annual list of peer reviewers.

Physicians, faculty members, and others within the healthcare professions are encouraged to contact the JAOA if they are interested in becoming a peer reviewer. Prospective peer reviewers must submit a letter and curriculum vitae to the JAOA's editorial assistant at jaoa{at}osteopathic.org. Letters must be addressed to AOA Editor in Chief Gilbert E. D'Alonzo, Jr, DO, and applicants must:

• Hold a doctorate or specialized master's degree
  
  
• Indicate areas of interest or expertise
  
  
• Describe why they are interested in becoming a peer reviewer for the JAOA
  
  
• Include full contact information (eg, mailing addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, and e-mail addresses)
