About the Cover: Beginning on page 327, Brian F. Degenhardt, DO, and Michael L. Kuchera, DO, support the work of previous osteopathic medical researchers by providing new evidence of the efficacy of osteopathic manipulative treatment in managing recurrent acute otitis media. In this pilot study, Drs Degenhardt and Kuchera found short-term (<1 y) and long-term (1 y) benefits for infants treated osteopathically for this common disease of childhood.
