Beginning on page 503, Karen M. Steele, DO; Helen H. Baker, PhD; George F. Boxwell, DO; and Sarah Steele-Killeen, DO, describe several changes to the osteopathic principles and practice curriculum at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) in Lewisburg. A free, community-based medical clinic was started at WVSOM in spring 1995 and has resulted in improved student confidence in osteopathic manipulative medicine.
