Readers are encouraged to submit to the JAOA`s offices notification or copies of recently published books that they wish to be considered for review. The JAOA is especially interested in books written by members of the osteopathic medical profession and books that address the profession's mission.

Notification of recently published books should be sent electronically to jaoa{at}osteopathic.org. Review copies should be addressed to the JAOA`s editorial assistant at 142 E Ontario St, Chicago, IL 60611-2864.

Physicians, faculty members, and others within the healthcare professions who are interested in serving as book reviewers for the JAOA are invited to send a letter of interest and curriculum vitae to the JAOA`s Book Review Editor Frederick J. Goldstein, PhD, at jaoa{at}osteopathic.org. Applicants are encouraged to indicate their areas of interest and expertise in their cover letters.

All book reviews are subject to the review and approval of the JAOA book review editor and the AOA editor in chief. On acceptance, book reviews are subject to editing and abridgement prior to publication.
